About the hub

One connected place for guidance, practical tools and clearer support pathways across New Zealand aquatics.

An open-water athlete moving through calm water

The Wellbeing Hub is created by the New Zealand Aquatics Collective. It brings practical information, safe-sport guidance, team resources and clear support pathways into one connected place.

It is designed for the whole aquatics community: athletes, coaches, team managers, staff, officials, volunteers, parents and whānau.

Why it exists

People should not need to know the organisation chart before they can find help. The hub starts with the need, then points to the most useful information or support route.

Everyday questions should be answered with useful guidance. Serious safety, integrity or sustained wellbeing concerns can be shared through Be Heard, the separate concerns and complaints portal, while independent support remains available outside the sport.

What lives here

The Wellbeing area brings together strategy, Level the Deck, practical resources and lived-experience stories. Safe Sport holds standards and independent options. Team Managers contains role-specific planning, templates and travel guidance.

The Ask the hub assistant helps people find published information in plain language and shows the hub sources behind its answer.

How people can reach it

The same hub can be reached from a direct link, a QR code at the pool, an accreditation or a shared team resource. Every published information page stays directly accessible.

Built with care

The service is being prepared in stages. Features that handle sensitive information stay disabled until ownership, delivery, privacy and response processes are confirmed.
