What a safe system makes visible
Safe Sport connects prevention, expected conduct and response. It gives people a useful starting point without treating every question as a formal complaint.
Safeguarding
People understand the responsibilities that protect children, young people and adults at risk.
Expected behaviour
Coaches, staff, volunteers, athletes and whānau can see what respectful conduct looks like.
Fair pathways
Concerns and complaints can reach the Collective or an independent body through a clear process.
Learning and prevention
Teams use practical education and planning before pressure, travel or uncertainty creates harm.
Connected to Aotearoa's integrity system
Sport NZ provides sector safeguarding guidance. The Sport Integrity Commission Te Kahu Raunui provides the national Integrity Code, education and an independent complaints pathway.
