An away competition or a camp is where a lot of the best memories in sport are made. It is also where the usual structures fall away: parents are not there, rooms are shared, and the adults in charge are tired by day two.

This guidance from the Sport Integrity Commission covers the decisions that are much easier to make before you leave. Who is supervising, and who backs them up. How rooms are allocated. What consent you need from families. What happens if something goes wrong at 2am.

What to expect

A web page built around realistic scenarios, a two-page checklist you can print and tick through, and a five-page guide for more detail. All free, no sign-in.

Good to know

Supervision ratios in any guide are a starting point. Weigh them against the ages and needs of your group, what you are doing, and what the venue or the law requires.
