The Five Ways to Wellbeing are connect, take notice, be active, give and keep learning. None of them is complicated, which is the point. They are small things you can do this week that add up.
For athletes, one of the five is already full. Being active is the day job. The other four are where a life outside the pool gets built, and they tend to be what holds people up when sport is not going well.

These are everyday habits, not a programme to complete. Any breathing or mindfulness practice belongs on land and well away from the water. It is never breath-holding or underwater work.
